Many barbers around the country are still shut down, but hair doesn’t stop growing! Braun, Gillette, and The Art of Shaving have come to the rescue for men missing their barbers, creating at-home hair cutting tutorials.

The Art of Shaving launched The Art of Shaving At Home, turning their social channels into a virtual barbershop to help teach men the basics of shaving, at-home cuts and grooming maintenance.

The brand’s master barbers and social media personalities have become on-call mentors by bringing the barbershop to consumers.

“While we’re currently limited in where we can go, there’s no limit to what we can do as a community,” said The Art of Shaving CEO Falguni Desai. “We turned our Instagram channel into a virtual barber shop destination with the goal of helping our community members navigate a small part of this new, uncharted territory.”

Topics for the brand’s tutorials to help men look and feel their best include; How to Clean-Up Your Beard and Neck Using Trimmers, How to Groom Your Beard At Home with a Straight Razor, How to Clean Your Brush, How To Cut Your Own Hair With Clippers, How to Give Yourself a Fade, How to Upkeep Your Beard and more.

Gillette is turning to its Gillette Barber Council to address a variety of questions, needs and concerns that men have about their grooming routines.

To help guys clean up at home or learn how to groom their “quarantine beards,” Gillette and its Gillette Barber Council are sharing consumer polls, questions, and tutorials via Instagram.

Braun released a series of at-home tutorials with Dan Gregory, Braun global barber ambassador. Consumers can tune into the brand via YouTube or Instagram to find a variety of content including: how to cut your own hair at home, How to cut your child's hair at home, top 4 beard styles to try and a Q+A session with Dan on the most asked questions he received on Instagram.

The brand is also exploring hosting Virtual Barber Shops Series via Instagram Live in select markets, so stay tuned!
